Who We Are 

The Proclamation of Independence for the State of Israel, written May 14, 1948, states:

“Israel will be based on freedom, justice and peace as envisaged by the prophets of Israel; it will ensure complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants irrespective of religion, race or sex”.

The Freedom Foundation is an Israeli non-profit organization dedicated to defending freedom, justice and peace for victims living within its borders.  As we partner with other successful initiatives in this arena, we envision a nation where all those enslaved are set free and live with justice and peace. 

Current Threats to Freedom 

In a country that values “a life of dignity, freedom and honest toil”, as declared in the Israel Proclamation of Independence, there remain thousands living in Israel who are not accorded these basic rights.  

Freedom Foundation has identified several value infringements within Israeli society that require change. Over the years our focus may expand, but currently we have targeted the following areas for attention – please join us in the battle. 

The Purposes of the Freedom Foundation (Israeli amuta – nonprofit organization) 

1. Fund assistance for victims of Human Trafficking, Women Trafficking, Sex industry, poverty and foreign workers.

2. Promote the rights and freedom of people in need in Israel, working towards changing laws and establishing rights for those who are victims.

3. Offer Humanitarian aid in compliance to criteria set forth by our bylaws.

4. Fund people to acquire education, vocational training, psychological help, medical and legal aid.

5. Partner with governmental agencies, other NGOs and professionals who are doing significant work in this field.

6. Grant the Freedom Foundation Award annually to the person who has best embodied the spirit of this organization.
